Royal trek |
Old Nepal hands remember the designing of this
trek by British Colonel, Jimmy Roberts who
invented trekking in Nepal. He designed it for
his Prince of Wales in the foothills of The
Western Himalayas where the personage could walk
in timelessness and contemplate his future.
So spectacular was the scenery, so romantic the
atmosphere that on returning to Britain the
Prince married Diane. You don’t travel high on
this trek but the Himalayas surround you and a
joyous people convey a sense of peace and
tradition. The trek is short. But the memories
live forever.
